Responsibilities
- Embed with internal teams to map workflows and identify bottlenecks suitable for AI automation.
- Scope, prototype, and ship AI agents and automations that remove high-leverage manual work.
- Own agents after launch by monitoring quality, triaging failures, reviewing outputs, and iterating from usage data.
- Design and build shared AI-agent platform capabilities including orchestration, routing, reusable components, access controls, logging, and rate limiting.
- Build evaluation harnesses that measure agent quality and detect regressions before release.
- Author and maintain MCP connectors that provide agents access to internal tools, APIs, and data systems.
- Write and review secure, well-tested, maintainable production code.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
- Strong Python skills and software fundamentals across the stack, including deploying services and connecting them to APIs and databases.
- Production experience with LLMs such as Anthropic or OpenAI, including prompt engineering, context management, tool use, and debugging failure modes.
- Experience building or operating structured AI evaluation pipelines with metrics and regression detection.
- Ability to diagnose workflow bottlenecks, handle ambiguity, and turn loosely defined problems into working solutions.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, CrewAI, Claude Agent SDK, MCP servers, AI-agent tool connectors, RAG pipelines, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, Langfuse, or OpenTelemetry.
