SENIOR IT SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and present enterprise solution architecture artifacts and diagrams.
- Translate business requirements into target-state architecture, technical standards, design options, and implementation guidance.
- Lead architecture planning and technical direction for major DSS initiatives, including ACCESS HRA, Paperless Office Systems, Curam-related work, and new software products.
- Provide design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and operational-readiness guidance across project teams.
- Conduct product evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical assessments, and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Prepare gap analyses, investment roadmaps, and future-state capability models for DSS technology ecosystems.
- Recommend improvements to architecture governance, technology standards, decision rights, accountability, and enterprise design practices.
- Serve as technical lead or IT project manager for medium and large technology initiatives.
- Coordinate resources, status meetings, risks, issues, stakeholder communications, decisions, and implementation updates.
- Support application reliability and resiliency through health checks, continuity planning, disaster recovery, backup, recovery testing, data integrity, and dependency management.
- Participate in senior leadership meetings and provide technical expertise for Curam design, development, testing, deployment, and scope estimation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture, and/or IT infrastructure systems.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any field plus ten years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to either stated qualification may be accepted.
