Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable end-to-end full-stack software solutions.
- Build features across UI, API, and data layers using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React/Next.js.
- Develop and consume APIs, integrate databases and Kafka, and ensure clean, standards-compliant solutions.
- Build and manage robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support secure, resilient production releases.
- Apply unit and integration testing, code reviews, secure coding practices, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business analysts, designers, and engineers to define requirements and assess feasibility.
- Support sprint planning and estimation and own delivery of committed work end to end.
- Contribute to incident management, cybersecurity practices, risk assessment, controls, and adoption of emerging security solutions.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools to improve productivity, code quality, and development workflows.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a full-stack engineer building cloud-native applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Java 21+, Angular, React/Next.js, SQL/NoSQL databases, and scalable system design.
- Proficiency developing and consuming APIs and hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, SonarQube, and Wiz.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB and with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Experience with Kafka, API standards such as OpenAPI or TypeSpec, and unit/integration testing using JUnit 5 and Cucumber BDD.
- Strong understanding of production readiness, observability, resilience, performance, maintainability, and secure coding.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Financial services or technology experience is valued.
- Python experience with GenAI and agentic frameworks, knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, NLP, and conversational AI, and prompt engineering expertise are valued.
