Responsibilities
- Build and manage best-in-class Shopify storefronts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security and financial needs.
- Integrate third-party tools into the Shopify ecosystem.
- Work with the e-commerce team to boost conversion rates and member satisfaction.
- Lead or advise on technical initiatives for Peloton Apparel.
- Report on work progress to the wider business on a sprint-long cadence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong front-end experience, including JavaScript and CSS.
- Experience with Shopify development in Liquid or similar templating languages.
- Familiarity with Shopify's tooling for building integrated apps in JavaScript, Rust, etc.
- Experience with large and complicated product catalogs on e-commerce platforms.
- Solid understanding of git workflows in GitHub or similar systems.
- Experience with GraphQL and data processing from APIs.
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of analytics software like Amplitude and their use in e-commerce.
- Experience developing dashboards and testing insights using observability tools.
- Capacity to work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
