Responsibilities

  • Develop features and fix bugs in identity and account management services.
  • Contribute to the technical evolution of CERN’s services.
  • Provide advanced user support, including in-person consultations with service managers.
  • Support service upgrades, advanced integrations, and business-continuity activities.
  • Contribute to stakeholder management and the service roadmap as responsibility increases.

Requirements

  • Experience with full-stack software development using .NET and ReactJS.
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience using OAuth, OIDC, or SAML protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative user-support, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, an equivalent field, or a related field.
  • No more than two years of professional experience since graduation.
  • Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member or Associate Member State and must not have previously held a CERN fellow or graduate contract.
  • Applicants without a university degree or with a PhD are not eligible.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes is advantageous.
