Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support custom SAP ABAP applications, including reports, ALV reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Develop and support SAP technical objects using BAPI, RFC, BDC, IDoc, BADI, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Build and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems.
- Develop SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain SAP Data Dictionary objects such as tables, views, domains, data elements, and indexes.
- Perform complex debugging, root cause analysis, defect resolution, SQL tuning, runtime analysis, and application performance optimization.
- Develop and support modern ABAP solutions using CDS Views, OData Services, and S/4HANA technologies.
- Collaborate with functional teams across FI, MM, SD, HR, and other SAP modules to deliver technical solutions.
- Manage transport requests, technical documentation, code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and production issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience across multiple SAP modules.
- Expertise in reports, ALV Reports, interfaces, enhancements, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
- Experience with BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary objects, including tables, views, domains, data elements, and indexes.
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging, performance tuning, SQL optimization, and runtime analysis.
- Experience integrating SAP with external systems through IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
- Hands-on experience with SAP transport management, technical documentation, testing, and production support.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions while working closely with functional teams.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and modernization projects is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Fiori, ABAP on HANA, SAP Workflow, Web Services, SAP BTP, large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, or AMS support engagements.
- SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA technical certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and global collaboration skills.
