Responsibilities
- Lead teams building comprehensive Zero Trust solutions for users, applications, and infrastructure.
- Design secure hybrid architectures integrating segmentation, identity-based access, workload isolation, and secure API communication.
- Align cloud-native security controls with enterprise Zero Trust policies and support FedRAMP and federal cloud security compliance.
- Manage, build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain SecDevOps environments.
- Develop and maintain secure AWS and multi-cloud deployments and integrate project products into Zero Trust environments.
- Lead service delivery across software development lifecycle phases and manage project commitments.
- Design, configure, and support software build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and GitLab.
- Use infrastructure automation with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, ECS, EKS, ECR, and Fargate.
- Script and maintain security-embedded software build environments using Linux and shell scripting.
- Document, schedule, and execute software scans, builds, deployments, security plans, configuration-management plans, source-control-management plans, releases, and build procedures.
- Support software deployments across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Coordinate coding and unit-testing phases and apply SecDevOps, continuous delivery, rapid release, and end-to-end automation best practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management is preferred.
- At least 10 years of software development experience is required.
- At least 7 years of combined software development and technical operations support experience is required.
- Deep understanding of credentials, identities, authentication, SSO, applications, workloads, endpoints, networks, data, automation, security analytics, SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence is required.
- Experience with monolith and microservice architectures using containerization and Kubernetes is required.
- Understanding of polyglot technologies, frameworks, applications, CNCF-compliant software stacks, and OCI-compliant containers is required.
- Experience managing projects end to end with minimal supervision is required.
- Expertise in branching, merging, and archiving software throughout the development lifecycle is required.
- Experience managing system changes without interrupting users is required.
- Familiarity with source control, build, and automation tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, npm, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and scripting is required.
- GovCon experience and technical lead experience are preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a government-issued background investigation.
