Base Salary
$95k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, resilient enterprise infrastructure architectures using GitHub-centered DevOps practices.
- Configure GitHub repositories, branches, permissions, and governance workflows for distributed engineering teams.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for automated build, testing, validation, deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and environment promotion.
- Develop standardized templates and reusable workflows across development, staging, and production environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, cost efficiency, deployment success, and pipeline health, using reports and logs to recommend improvements.
- Coordinate infrastructure changes with application, security, compliance, project, and operations teams.
- Document infrastructure designs, CI/CD flows, GitHub standards, and usage guidelines.
- Support incident and problem management by analyzing pipeline and infrastructure failures and proposing corrective actions.
- Evaluate new GitHub and GitHub Actions capabilities and advise on adoption.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing infrastructure architectures with GitHub-centered DevOps and CI/CD automation practices.
- Advanced proficiency managing GitHub repositories, branches, permissions, and collaboration workflows for medium to large technology teams.
- Deep expertise building modular GitHub Actions workflows that integrate testing, validation, and deployment tasks.
- Practical exposure to infrastructure and pipeline reporting for system health and delivery performance.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and enterprise best practices in hybrid environments.
- Ability to work effectively across hybrid and distributed teams through remote collaboration and technical documentation.
- Preferred certifications include Certified DevOps Engineer and GitHub Administration or equivalent automation-focused credentials.
