Canada- Sr Application Engineer (Salesforce-Agentforce Ai)

Responsibilities
- Build AI agents with Salesforce Agentforce and other AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Develop intelligent process automations using Power Automate, Alteryx, and related tools.
- Create test automations and collaborate on automated and manual testing scripts.
- Develop, integrate, unit-test, troubleshoot, and debug Salesforce, billing, and connected applications using Apex, JavaScript, Python, and other languages.
- Collaborate with designers, end users, and cross-functional teams to identify, prototype, and deliver AI use cases and application solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application builds and AI agents.
- Participate in DevOps maintenance, peer-review team and vendor work, provide feedback, and approve pull requests.
- Resolve standard to high-complexity incidents and support transformational projects and high-priority enhancements.
- Train and consult with business partners on systems and processes developed by the team.
- Mentor and coach junior and intermediate application engineers and peers.
- Promote adoption of AI agents to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver value faster.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building Salesforce Agentforce AI agents, AI workflows, custom agents, and integrations with external data sources.
- More than five years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce or connected-application configurations and custom applications.
- Solid experience with Salesforce and external-system integrations, including Conga, DocuSign, Adobe, Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Qualtrics, Kantata, and TaskRay.
- Working experience with the Workday platform is highly desired.
- Experience creating intelligent process automations with Power Automate or similar tools.
- Solid experience creating Salesforce and other platform test automations.
- Strong coding experience with JavaScript, Apex, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Proficiency with DevOps processes and tools such as Copado and AutoRABIT, and with GitHub troubleshooting and versioning.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PMD, Selenium, and Copado CRT.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and governor limits.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications are required.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is required.
- Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist certification is listed.
- Salesforce Certified Application/Systems Architect certification is desired.
- A BSc or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with other AI platforms, SaaS products, Salesforce Lightning Design System, React, Vue.js, Angular, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce, Salesforce Einstein, AWS, Azure, SOA, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and production on-call responsibilities.
