Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions across Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms while following architectural standards.
- Deliver scalable integration services using Oracle FMW products, Java, SQL, and related programming languages and tools.
- Create and review technical designs, specifications, requirements, use cases, performance criteria, and best practices.
- Develop UNIX shell scripts, scheduled jobs, and automation tools using Perl, Python, Jython, or similar languages.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, queries, AQ queues, and scheduled jobs in Oracle databases.
- Build, maintain, and consume REST and SOAP APIs and manipulate XML and JSON data.
- Develop and transform XML-based data structures using XQuery and XSL/XSLT in middleware workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on version control, merge requests, and deployment pipelines using GitLab or SVN.
- Use Jira for task tracking, release management, and project coordination.
- Conduct and document unit, regression, stress, and performance testing.
- Participate in global team meetings, provide peer guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot system connectivity and middleware integration issues and lead projects or project components through timely delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of IT experience, including extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Expertise and development experience in at least three of SOA Suite, WebLogic, Java, and OSB.
- At least 5 years of experience with relational databases, including PL/SQL, queries, AQ queues, and scheduled jobs.
- Strong understanding of Oracle system architecture, subsystems, and internal processes.
- Experience working in UNIX environments and writing shell, Perl, Python, Jython, or similar scripts.
- Expertise with XML and JSON and with designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or SVN, including merge requests and deployment pipelines.
- Experience documenting technical designs, writing specifications, and validating business requirements.
- Familiarity with test automation, unit testing frameworks, regression testing, and performance or stress testing tools.
- Experience using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, leadership, and self-learning skills for work with global distributed teams.
- Basic networking knowledge and experience with Azure Functions, App Service, Azure SQL DB, Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Node.js, or TypeScript are preferred.
- Prior experience with PCI, PII, or GDPR compliance requirements is preferred.
