Base Salary
$189k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex enterprise-scale solutions for lending and credit card platforms.
- Translate business and stakeholder needs into technical designs meeting performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Lead modernization efforts, cloud-first architecture, application integrations, and API strategy.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, delivery teams, infrastructure partners, and business stakeholders across enterprise initiatives.
- Develop and troubleshoot APIs, integrations, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and improve operational stability.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentorship.
- Present technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and influence enterprise design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience required.
- At least 10 years of information technology experience with demonstrated application design expertise required.
- Experience with financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, loans, or deposits required.
- Consumer financial products experience with UX, integration, and API-layer expertise required.
- Experience with public cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud required.
- Experience leading and collaborating with multiple teams on enterprise-wide initiatives through all aspects of the SDLC required.
- Experience with .NET, C#, Node.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript or JavaScript, React, Angular, or Python preferred.
- PowerShell or Bash automation, SOLID design principles, object-oriented programming, SOA patterns, and distributed systems design preferred.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity preferred.
- Advanced degree and experience presenting at industry conferences preferred.
