Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software applications for the Strategic Advisors Managed Accounts division.
- Write maintainable, extensible, reusable, and performant client- and service-layer code.
- Translate stories and use cases into applications and features.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, application development, test-case creation, and regression testing.
- Identify and address technical bottlenecks and issues across monolithic and microservice-based architectures.
- Collaborate with business partners and distributed developers to establish software engineering standards.
- Improve engineering procedures involving ATDD and CI/CD.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience with proficiency in the Java middleware stack, messaging technologies, and web containers such as Spring Boot and Kafka.
- Experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Angular, and NGRX client-side technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment strategies including Kubernetes and AWS and continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of design principles for composing scalable applications and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to write clean, testable, readable, maintainable, extensible, reusable, and performant code.
- Experience working across diverse architectures, from monolithic to microservice-based systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and engage in critical and collaborative problem-solving.
