Responsibilities
- Design software tools, frameworks, and applications for Windows and cloud-based platforms supporting data collection and test automation.
- Develop solutions across presentation, application, business logic, and data access layers.
- Build scalable, documented software and standardize test software frameworks across production environments.
- Deploy and adopt technologies that enhance or replace existing test solutions.
- Collaborate with electrical, optical, systems, and research and development teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and share best practices for process and test automation.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software environments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in object-oriented software development, preferably using C# and .NET.
- Experience applying serverless and cloud-based solutions, preferably with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with source control management, CI/CD tools, code reviews, Git, Subversion, Bamboo, and Artifactory.
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular, SCSS, ASP.NET, and REST service design and implementation.
- Experience with test-driven development, software design patterns, data structures, agile development tools, and Jira.
- Application of data science principles and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate across geographies, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Experience with instrumentation, optics, telecommunications, or Manufacturing Execution Systems is preferred.
