Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the .NET-based microservices backend and Shopify Hydrogen storefront.
- Provision and manage AWS compute, networking, messaging, secrets, and security infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
- Implement and maintain WAF, ALB, secrets-management, and key-management security controls.
- Support OAuth2/OIDC identity providers for service-to-service and customer-facing authentication.
- Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting across microservices and message-driven workflows.
- Configure asynchronous messaging infrastructure, including queues, topics, and dead-letter handling.
- Manage environment configuration, versioning, and release coordination across concurrent workstreams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, define rollback and contingency procedures, and drive post-incident reviews.
- Create infrastructure and operational documentation, including runbooks.
- Coordinate with backend engineering, QA automation, and internal IT teams on environments, deployments, and infrastructure changes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, including production support for cloud-native applications.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills at B2 level minimum.
- Strong experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF, and ALB.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized or microservices-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Experience supporting .NET/C# application deployments and troubleshooting service-to-service communication.
- Solid understanding of OAuth2/OIDC identity and access management concepts.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting in distributed systems environments.
- Ability to work independently across time zones in a multi-vendor, distributed delivery environment.
- Preferred: experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platform migrations.
- Preferred: familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL data stores in production.
- Preferred: experience with Keycloak or similar identity providers.
- Preferred: exposure to CQRS or event-driven architecture patterns.
- Preferred: prior consulting or staff-augmentation experience in a multi-vendor delivery environment.
