Develop state estimation and prediction models for autonomous spacecraft, combining probabilistic estimation with machine learning to track targets, forecast trajectories, and assess intent. This graduate role works at the core of Lodestar’s MITHRIL autonomy platform.
Build the high-fidelity simulation environment that validates Lodestar’s autonomous space-protection software before flight. You’ll develop sensor and environment models, SIL/HIL test benches, distributed simulation services, and regression tooling across robotics and space systems.
Build mission-critical avionics software for autonomous spacecraft, with opportunities in distributed middleware, embedded Linux, or flight software. You’ll develop resilient, fault-tolerant systems that enable autonomous in-orbit threat detection and response.
Build the autonomy and decision-making software that enables spacecraft to respond intelligently to changing mission conditions. You’ll combine machine learning, planning, control, and real-time systems engineering for Lodestar’s orbital defense platform.
