The Security Engineer will own digital and physical security for Proxima Fusion’s rapidly growing fusion company, including security monitoring, incident response, identity, infrastructure, and physical-site protection. The role is hands-on and strategic, with responsibility for Zero Trust, Google Workspace security, vulnerability management, supply-chain security, and compliance support.
Develop the embedded control platform for power electronic converters supporting next-generation stellarator fusion systems. You will architect controller hardware and software, build real-time embedded implementations, and validate them on target hardware.
Build and evolve a simulation platform that accelerates stellarator fusion research, from large-scale workflow automation and cloud data systems to collaborative web applications. You will also work directly with researchers to apply the platform to domain-specific R&D challenges.
