Base Salary
$196k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex frontend projects for Vercel’s brand and product marketing experiences.
- Build and optimize landing pages, applications, web services, and APIs for user acquisition, conversion, retention, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with growth and marketing teams on A/B testing and lead-generation initiatives across multiple channels.
- Contribute to the design system and maintain high UX standards, including interactions, micro-animations, and layout consistency.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, systems, and internal documentation to scale the codebase and team productivity.
- Troubleshoot bugs, resolve issues quickly, review other engineers’ contributions, and provide feedback.
- Identify funnel bottlenecks and improve conversion, speed, SEO, accessibility, and reliability.
- Maintain foundational Vercel application areas for ease of maintenance and future extensibility.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, or similar technologies.
- Full-stack experience designing or consuming APIs and working with various services.
- Deep understanding of SEO, performance, accessibility, and search optimization.
- Knowledge of A/B testing concepts and conversion rate optimization.
- Strong cross-functional communication and user experience judgment.
- Familiarity with the Vercel platform, Tailwind CSS, web design, design systems, or developer tooling is a bonus.
