Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support requirements, design, development, testing, validation, and maintenance across the software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement scalable radar software features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex software for performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain system architecture and software design documentation.
- Participate in product reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
- Contribute to radar signal-processing, simulation, real-time, and high-performance software development.
- Serve in part-time or full-time technical leadership roles and occasionally travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level STEM degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience are typically required.
- Experience developing C++ software on a Linux or Unix-based platform.
- Experience with radar systems and signal processing, digital signal processing, RF systems and antenna concepts, radar scene and signal modeling, or electronic attack and electronic protection concepts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance before starting and U.S. citizenship due to clearance eligibility requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret clearance, Scrum Master or Product Owner experience, and at least 3 years of MATLAB development for modeling.
- Preferred experience includes MDA X-Band Radars, radar signal-processing and simulation software, high-fidelity radar scene and complex baseband simulation, real-time software, parallel programming, hardware acceleration, and performance analysis and optimization.
