Base Salary
$118k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support high-fidelity radar models in flight simulation training systems.
- Build, update, maintain, and enhance radar models and radar software products in host simulation code.
- Integrate radar models with distributed simulation environments and Radar Simulation Systems.
- Design, develop, test, and debug real-time, multithreaded software, distributed applications, and APIs.
- Implement data standards for specific radar models and support radar data flow through the simulation pipeline.
- Support system integration, test events, customer reviews, and potentially manage small projects or processes.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and 5 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance; an active existing clearance is required after day one.
- Extensive radar software-development and radar-concepts experience.
- Proven team leadership and ability to drive solutions to complex technical problems.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and object-oriented programming.
- Preferred experience includes radar simulation modes, RSS databases, Interface Control Documents, large mission-critical codebases, OFP software, software architecture, Wireshark, system integration, and automated unit testing.
- Preferred familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working on bids and proposals.
