Responsibilities
- Develop new solutions and features for engineering programs and projects.
- Perform unit and component testing, code maintenance, peer code reviews, and quality management reviews.
- Implement small enhancements, break/fix changes, and post-production support.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend pragmatic engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to meet technical, performance, delivery, and innovation goals.
- Document and verify application, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and architecture components.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, including impact assessment, communication, and resolution support.
- Identify and recommend development and testing tools and help prevent and resolve recurring issues.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate in computer science or software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with UI, Java, RESTful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB.
- 5+ years of experience with Git-based source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, communicate effectively, and learn new technologies.
- Credit decisioning experience and team-leading experience are strong assets.
