Base Salary
$189k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance networking and security features for Zero Trust Security Services.
- Create specifications, drive automation, and apply software design and troubleshooting expertise to deliver scalable and resilient systems.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and customers to understand use cases, review requirements, and optimize performance.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and uphold quality across deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with FIPS, FedRAMP, Common Criteria, and SOC 2 standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10+ years of system engineering experience in high-performance networking; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions in the functional domain.
- Expertise in Linux kernel-based L2/L3 networking, stateful firewalls, NAT, network drivers, routing protocols, and tunneling technologies.
- Proficiency in Go and Python, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills for complex data path issues.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AI/ML framework integration, intelligent data path analysis, predictive threat detection, advanced networking and high-availability protocols, FIPS or FedRAMP experience, public cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization, and security solutions.
