Base Salary
$248k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advance the reliability, availability, and scalability of the Zscaler Client Connector Cloud service.
- Make key decisions regarding product architecture.
- Lead a team in driving innovative services and solutions.
- Collaborate with architects from other product areas on technology roadmaps.
- Balance high-level strategy with hands-on technical execution and build secure, highly scalable architectures.
Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on application development experience using Java.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Expert knowledge of Enterprise Java, object-oriented programming and analysis, systems architecture, APIs, Kubernetes, microservices, related frameworks, relational and NoSQL databases, Hibernate, and CI/CD tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience architecting and supporting highly scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS or GCP.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade security or networking products.
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery, plus security, authentication and authorization, and encryption best practices.
- Curiosity and demonstrated use of AI tools and technologies to improve workflows and problem-solving.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred: streaming data processing infrastructure, identity and access management systems, Okta, SAML, OAuth, privileged access management, and React.js experience.
