Base Salary
$152k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and implement computer and network software for Zscaler products.
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data infrastructure supporting large-scale batch processing and real-time workloads.
- Design and implement secure, high-performance database schemas, data models, APIs, and data platforms for billions of log events.
- Develop systems supporting security, scalability, multi-tenancy, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Participate in software development processes focused on code quality, supportability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native API and microservice development.
- Proven experience with Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Preferred experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Preferred practical experience with machine learning models, systems, or pipelines.
- Preferred ability to use AI technologies, workflows, tools, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
