Base Salary
$57k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other Engineering professionals.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
- Experience or education in software development is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes C++, C, Java, or a similar higher-level programming language.
- Preferred knowledge includes data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, and software development life cycle processes.
- Preferred experience includes Unix/Linux operating systems and software development in a team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills are preferred.
