Base Salary
$57k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain software configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience or education in software development.
- Experience with C++, C, Java, or a similar higher-level programming language.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, and software development life cycle and processes is preferred.
- Experience with a Unix/Linux operating system is preferred.
- Experience developing software in a team-based development environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance before the start date.
