Base Salary
$57k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and documentation of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience or education in software development.
- Experience with C++, C, Java, or a similar higher-level programming language.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before starting.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development life cycle and processes.
- Preferred qualifications include Unix/Linux experience and software development in a team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a desire to learn new technologies and tools.
