Responsibilities
- Prototype AI-native ideas in code quickly, transforming concepts into production-grade React code.
- Ship production-grade Growth surfaces, owning layout, interaction, motion, accessibility, and performance.
- Define quality standards for AI-assisted output through reviews and reusable patterns.
- Extend AI-enabled tools and processes to improve team efficiency.
- Trailblaze the Design Engineer function, owning work from problem framing to launch.
- Measure impact by both the quality of what you ship and the speed at which the team can ship.
Requirements
- Strong experience in both design and front-end engineering with a portfolio of shipped interfaces.
- Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and an animation library.
- Active use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily workflow with a focus on production-quality output.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in workflows and create solutions.
- Comfort in building from scratch and setting direction without templates.
