Responsibilities
- Build large-scale, distributed, API-driven systems and web applications for tens of thousands of users.
- Design and implement AI-powered software solutions, agents, skills, tools, and intelligent workflows for internal and customer-facing applications.
- Use AI models, telemetry, monitoring, and observability capabilities to identify anomalies, diagnose issues, improve reliability, and reduce operational risk.
- Build intelligent automation to streamline research, improve information discovery, and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, Research, and Data teams to identify AI-driven business opportunities.
- Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code using the team’s primary technologies.
- Lead software design, development standards, and code reviews while evaluating emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
- At least 4 years of full-stack software development experience building web applications with React.js, JavaScript, C#, .NET Framework/Web API 2.0, and relational databases.
- Experience with database design, SQL development, performance tuning, large-scale distributed service-oriented systems, and web applications.
- Understanding of AI technologies and hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or Grok.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, agent-based architectures, monitoring, telemetry, observability, or automated diagnostics.
- Understanding of data quality principles, data governance, and data-centric application design.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud platform knowledge, advanced SQL querying, RESTful web services, data modeling, AI agents, workflow automation, intelligent search, production ML or LLM systems, and AI-assisted development practices.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to prior employers are preferred.
