Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, scale, and maintain high-throughput Go microservices and features.
- Lead system design and shape the broader integration architecture for POS and menu integrations.
- Define observability standards and review production signals to identify and resolve anomalies.
- Improve production reliability and participate in incident response.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead collaborative debugging sessions.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to roll out integrations across international markets.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of substantial commercial experience writing clean, efficient, and testable Go code.
- Deep expertise designing microservices and event-driven systems, including eventual consistency and distributed architecture.
- Strong focus on production reliability, service improvement, and incident response.
- Advanced hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable systems with AWS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and S3.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate development, create scaffolding, and debug distributed systems.
