Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications and collaborate on test strategies and plans.
- Use Claude AI to generate test cases and scenarios from requirements and user stories.
- Generate intelligent Playwright selectors and develop and execute functional tests for financial application UIs.
- Apply AI to analyze test failures, identify root causes, and recommend fixes.
- Use MCP to connect Claude with requirements systems, defect trackers, and test execution logs.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, post-release, and post-implementation testing.
- Troubleshoot QA-related system issues and collaborate with development, product management, business, and other cross-functional teams.
- Validate quality throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
- Proven ability to design comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Strong experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Hands-on SQL experience for database validation and test data queries.
- Experience with project management and QA methodology.
- Working knowledge of test management software such as Jira and ALM.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with fixed income and/or derivative trading platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is preferred.
