Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable and reliable applications.
- Create and maintain deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Design high-availability and fault-tolerant application solutions.
- Implement monitoring frameworks with dashboards, alerts, and escalation processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage containerized applications and deployments with Kubernetes.
- Apply security best practices across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and microservices.
- Optimize system performance and scalability through observability and proactive monitoring.
- Collaborate with development teams and clients to improve deployment workflows and DevOps processes.
- Advise clients on cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and system security.
- Support technical discussions, client requirement analysis, and timely project execution.
Requirements
- At least six years of commercial experience is typical for Nearform Senior Engineers.
- Practical experience delivering real-world technical solutions.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong experience managing and automating AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration, ideally Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Scripting and automation expertise, preferably with Python.
- Experience with observability tools and monitoring frameworks.
- Understanding of security best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
