Base Salary
$77k - $107k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify and define system enhancements using script tools and code analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Install and support customer-facing systems.
- Design application specifications using programming knowledge.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and conduct testing and debugging.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Resolve application issues with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members while managing technology and compliance risks.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
