Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java/J2EE web applications for Risk and Finance dashboards containing sensitive data.
- Build business-process workflows, analytical data features, and JavaScript-based web front ends.
- Develop high-performance multithreaded applications using Java, Spring, Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
- Design, review, and improve architectural solutions, design patterns, code quality, and processing efficiency.
- Integrate server-side systems and RESTful web services using Spring MVC and related technologies.
- Guide junior team members and contribute to delivery in an agile environment.
- Work with technology partners to ensure business requirements are met.
- Analyze data and support regulatory, trade-processing, compliance, and financial-sector business needs.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of software development experience, including at least 6 years implementing enterprise-level Java development projects.
- Expert-level knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Web Services, J2EE, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and Impala.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, AngularJS, JSON, RESTful Web Services, Spring MVC, and databases.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems.
- Experience with high-performance multithreaded applications, server-side integration, design patterns, and complex design issues.
- Experience with WebSphere or WASND and source code management tools such as SVN or Bitbucket.
- Strong data analysis, business analysis, written communication, and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of banking operations and trade-processing flows through regulatory impacts is preferred; compliance or financial-sector experience and regulatory business knowledge are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
