Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ADAS feature modules covering perception preprocessing, object fusion, scene interpretation, and vehicle control interfaces.
- Analyze ADAS software architecture for real-time performance, latency constraints, and ASIL B/C/D safety compliance.
- Own and manage ADAS L2 feature development and lead ADAS system engineering teams.
- Develop MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments with plant models, vehicle dynamics, sensor emulation, actuator simulation, and scenario replay.
- Create scenario libraries and execute SOTIF validation for nominal, boundary, fault-injection, sensor-degradation, and ODD-stress scenarios.
- Drive ADAS technology decisions involving AUTOSAR Adaptive, service-oriented architecture, central compute, and software-defined vehicle evolution.
- Develop ADAS features using NVIDIA, Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, and Texas Instruments platforms.
- Lead root-cause analysis for critical software defects and execute corrective and preventive actions.
- Present technical status, risks, and architecture decisions to customers and senior management.
- Support presales activities through capability demonstrations, RFP responses, and ADAS solution architecture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; the posting additionally specifies 6–10 years in ADAS, automotive embedded, or software-defined vehicle domains.
- Expertise in ADAS system engineering and ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4 for ASIL B/C/D lifecycles.
- Strong ADAS system architecture knowledge covering sensor topology, compute partitioning, actuation systems, and network communication.
- Functional safety management experience including safety plans, safety cases, GSN, CAE, ASIL allocation, and confirmation measures.
- Technical leadership experience delivering ADAS system engineering artifacts in engineering services.
- Expertise in requirements management for complex ADAS hierarchies using DOORS NG, Polarion, or Codebeamer.
- In-depth SOTIF and ISO 21448 analysis experience, including functional insufficiency identification and validation strategy.
- ASPICE Level 3 compliance experience across SYS.1 through SYS.5 and audit readiness.
- Preferred experience with MBSE, SysML, MagicDraw, and ADAS architecture modeling and traceability tools.
- Preferred knowledge of UNECE R152, AEB, R157, ALKS, and Euro NCAP ADAS test protocols.
- Preferred familiarity with ANSYS Medini Analyze, PTC Integrity, Safety Case, or Item Tool Belt.
- Preferred exposure to connected ADAS, V2X architectures, cloud-assisted ADAS services, centralized compute, and zonal controllers.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education required.
