Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for SmartNIC and IPU software.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and evaluate technology choices with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code for quality, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation and educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve issues affecting hardware, networking, service operations, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Experience with kernels, kernel drivers, networking, device drivers, and debugging or troubleshooting.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and working with SmartNICs.
- Preferred: deep expertise with the Linux kernel or network device drivers and strong expertise with the Linux kernel networking stack.
- Preferred: strong expertise with C/C++ and broad systems expertise for triage and debugging.
