Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, performant full-stack applications using TypeScript and Node.js for cloud deployment.
- Develop resilient backend services backed by relational databases and implement high-traffic web applications with React and Next.js.
- Use agentic development practices to decompose features, provide coding agents with context, and review and validate their output.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites using tools such as Jest and Playwright.
- Own a product module through its full development lifecycle while collaborating with engineering, product, and UX teams.
- Stay current with automation, AI, and workflow-orchestration trends and contribute to improvements in the technology stack.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building high-performance, resilient backend services in a modern programming language.
- Strong frontend development skills with React or a comparable modern framework; React, Next.js, and TypeScript production experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with relational databases and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of OAuth2/OIDC authentication flows and object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Experience with Git and modern build and tooling ecosystems, including bundlers or package managers such as Webpack, Vite, NPM, or pnpm.
- Hands-on experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest and Playwright or equivalents such as Vitest or Cypress.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of the message broker pattern and experience with at least one message queuing service.
- Ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and development paradigms quickly.
