
Senior Software Engineer I - Finance Systems (Remote Eligible)

Base Salary
$145k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis, prioritization, architecture, configuration, implementation, and optimization of scalable financial systems improvements.
- Architect integrations for new subsidiaries and business ventures and maintain the Financial Systems platform as a scalable, modular system.
- Implement programmatic configurations and controls that support complex business logic, compliance, SOX, and ITGC requirements.
- Configure, customize, integrate, deploy, and maintain NetSuite, Coupa, Avalara, Stripe, and related third-party bundles and plugins.
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders on technical roadmaps, feasibility assessments, backlog scoping, system requirements, and architectural designs.
- Design and execute unit, user acceptance, and regression testing frameworks for new system solutions.
- Lead technical engagements with vendors and professional services providers and act as the internal platform’s technical advocate.
- Serve as a finance systems subject matter expert and provide high-tier technical consulting to internal users.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews, code reviews, product support rotation, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT or financial systems configuration.
- Experience supporting financial systems in a multi-company or multinational environment.
- Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and implementing corporate applications, including NetSuite, Coupa, Avalara, and Stripe.
- Experience with NetSuite REST or SOAP APIs, SuiteScript, or similar platform extensibility and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation concepts.
- Ability to drive projects from concept through completion and deliver within defined timelines.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain technical subjects to nontechnical enterprise users.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Understanding of the Agile process.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
