Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of full-stack applications spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build backend services and scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python/FastAPI, asynchronous processing, microservices, caching, and database technologies.
- Develop ReactJS and TypeScript web applications with reusable components, state management, API integrations, responsive interfaces, and strong performance and accessibility.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS using containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, environment provisioning, logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Guide engineering teams, mentor developers, define coding standards, conduct code reviews, and drive technical decisions across the software development lifecycle.
- Lead system design discussions covering scalability, distributed architectures, event-driven patterns, security, compliance, reliability, and user experience.
- Evaluate and help develop AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent search, conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, and automation where relevant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Python with FastAPI, ReactJS, TypeScript, REST and GraphQL APIs, asynchronous processing, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience with AI-driven applications, Kafka, SNS/SQS, Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, Terraform or CloudFormation, performance tuning, load testing, or AWS cost optimization is preferred.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
