Responsibilities
- Lead development of identity management products for Zscaler.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance.
- Build workflows and application integrations in coordination with IAM, Product Management, and business teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support a highly available engineering platform and compliance with federal guidelines.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency in enterprise Java, object-oriented programming, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, Hibernate, and Spring.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Postgres.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and development of robust solutions.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps automation workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and container infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience implementing AI-driven anomaly detection, identity analytics, or automated policy generation in enterprise access management platforms.
- Preferred: knowledge of IAM protocols including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, federation, or SSO.
