Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support scalable full stack applications.
- Build cloud-native solutions using AWS services and modern engineering practices.
- Develop backend applications, data APIs, data integration capabilities, and high-volume data processing solutions.
- Contribute to application architecture, design reviews, and technology selection decisions.
- Lead development efforts, perform code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive system reliability, performance optimization, security, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in release planning, estimation, sprint execution, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Own end-to-end delivery from analysis through production support and identify technical risks.
Requirements
- BE or MCA degree.
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Strong experience with Java, backend application development, data APIs, and high-volume data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, data modeling, performance tuning, OLTP, and data warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, and API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, deployment patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or Cron.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and Agile collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with middle-tier systems, modern cloud data platforms, test automation, Acceptance Test Driven Development, and asset management, financial services, or investment technology.
