Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable Python applications and services.
- Architect and implement microservices and event-driven solutions.
- Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote effective coding practices.
- Review code, enforce development standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across development, testing, and production environments while maintaining performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python full-stack development, including microservices architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and expertise with Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with automated testing using PyTest.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
- Preferred exposure to AI/ML integration, data engineering, automation platforms, performance tuning, application monitoring, security best practices, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Previous experience leading development teams or technical initiatives is preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is desired.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Developer Associate, Professional Cloud Developer, PCAP, or PCPP.
