Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using BigQuery, Dataproc, and PySpark.
- Develop Python data-processing and automation scripts.
- Create and manage workflow orchestration with Cloud Composer.
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on data engineering solutions.
- Support performance optimization, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in GCP data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modeling, data governance, and security best practices.
- Experience with Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub.
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, or M.Sc qualification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication abilities.
