Responsibilities
- Architect and provision Azure infrastructure for varied customer workloads, including data analytics platforms.
- Deploy and maintain Azure DevOps for Azure platform delivery and production support.
- Evaluate new Azure technologies and apply them to customer scenarios.
- Influence solution architecture to ensure supportability and contribute to delivery frameworks and processes.
- Transfer and retain technical knowledge across the team.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the Managed Service delivered to clients.
- Collaborate on and improve internal processes.
- Mentor the wider Managed Service team.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud or technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, SQL Server, and Databricks.
- Demonstrable understanding of SQL querying.
- Experience with Python and PySpark.
- Understanding of enterprise-level cloud and infrastructure practices and interest in application delivery.
- Experience with most of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones, hub-and-spoke networks, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps Pipelines and Repos.
- Strong written and spoken English, interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and focus on continual improvement.
