Responsibilities
- Design and maintain application components and CI/CD pipelines for OpenShift.
- Develop ETL packages and SQL objects based on business requirements.
- Build Spark calculators using business logic and rules.
- Develop or design dashboards and reports using reporting tools when required.
- Improve code coverage using Sonar.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
- Perform programming, reverse engineering, data analysis, and quality checking.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional Technology team supporting Liquidity Management.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of proven experience as a Java Big Data Developer.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java, Python, Scala, SQL, Unix/Linux shell, Spark, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Apache Hadoop, Spark SQL, Hive, Impala, YARN, Talend, Hue, and Spark.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Harness, GitHub, OpenShift, Git Bash, Autosys, and Control-M.
- Experience with reporting tools such as QlikView, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle and Agile processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, decision-making, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and work under pressure.
- Investment banking or financial services experience is preferred.
