Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain application components and CI/CD pipelines for OpenShift.
  • Develop ETL packages and SQL objects based on business requirements.
  • Build Spark calculators using business logic and rules.
  • Develop or design dashboards and reports using reporting tools when required.
  • Improve code coverage using Sonar.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
  • Perform programming, reverse engineering, data analysis, and quality checking.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional Technology team supporting Liquidity Management.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of proven experience as a Java Big Data Developer.
  • Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Java, Python, Scala, SQL, Unix/Linux shell, Spark, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Apache Hadoop, Spark SQL, Hive, Impala, YARN, Talend, Hue, and Spark.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Harness, GitHub, OpenShift, Git Bash, Autosys, and Control-M.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as QlikView, Tableau, or SSRS.
  • Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle and Agile processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, decision-making, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and work under pressure.
  • Investment banking or financial services experience is preferred.
