Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code and automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Build, manage, and improve Jenkins and comparable CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerize applications with Docker and support deployments, administration, and troubleshooting in Kubernetes.
- Use Chef and Puppet for configuration management and maintain virtualized infrastructure with VMware and Hyper-V.
- Support MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle database environments, including connectivity, availability, backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance.
- Monitor cloud environments for availability, scalability, security, performance, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients on requirements, solution design, implementation planning, deployments, troubleshooting, and operational handovers.
- Provide technical support for client cloud-based solutions and produce infrastructure designs, documentation, implementation plans, operational procedures, and support records.
- Apply security, compliance, access-management, disaster-recovery, observability, and sustainable infrastructure practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing, virtualization, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related technology roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent relevant professional experience considered.
- Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tools, Chef, and Puppet.
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle database management systems.
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, automating, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, cloud-native deployment, monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, recovery, security controls, and resource optimization is preferred.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
- Candidates may qualify through equivalent practical experience, relevant technical training, certifications, or demonstrable project outcomes.
