Base Salary
$196k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain tools, pipelines, and processes for frontend development.
- Serve as a resource for teams to solve development problems.
- Refactor and upgrade the codebase to improve maintainability.
- Write new tools based on the needs of Discord’s frontend projects.
- Optimize performance of bundlers, linters, and other development tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript tools and the Node.js ecosystem.
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, Kotlin, Go, and Swift.
- Experience developing and maintaining CLI tools and packages in JavaScript.
- Strong sense for writing maintainable code and documentation.
- Understanding of frontend development tools and their interactions.
