Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision, architecture, and engineering strategy across multiple teams and domains.
- Architect and guide scalable backend services using C#, .NET Core, and Python.
- Set frontend architecture direction using React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Shape Azure and AWS cloud architecture and lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Improve CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence.
- Lead cross-team technical initiatives, resolve architectural ambiguity, and maintain platform consistency.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads while fostering engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Represent engineering in senior and executive forums and connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, developer productivity, delivery velocity, and quality.
- Own critical technical challenges through solution design, production delivery, operational health, and measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- More than 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience and a record of delivering high-impact technical initiatives.
- Deep expertise designing and building scalable .NET backend services and setting architectural direction across multiple teams.
- Expert React.js knowledge, including state management, performance optimization, micro-frontends, and component architecture at scale.
- Experience with Next.js and Node.js is highly desirable.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including secure, highly available, multi-tenant production environments.
- Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, threat modeling, and security-by-design practices.
- Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services and highly available, multi-region, cost-optimized platforms.
- Extensive experience designing CI/CD strategies, build systems, automated testing, and deployment practices at organizational scale.
- Strong experience with site reliability engineering principles, observability, incident management, service-level objectives, and operational maturity.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-organizational initiatives, developing senior engineering talent, and improving engineering quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Expert system design ability and strong judgment balancing scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, cost, and time to market.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, collaboration, strategic thinking, and stakeholder alignment skills.
