Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performing transactional systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership as an individual contributor without direct people-management responsibilities.
- Build enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.
- Design database schemas, tune queries, and improve database and application performance.
- Contribute to build, release, deployment, environment management, and other DevOps processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support reliable application deployment across environments.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and implement reliability and performance improvements.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions focused on secure, maintainable systems aligned with business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders, team members, and partner teams to drive alignment and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Java development experience building enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience with database technologies, data modeling, SQL optimization, and transactional data processing.
- Proven experience designing and developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance transactional systems.
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and production support processes.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability tools, issue diagnosis, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools used in software development, engineering productivity, or operational support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, independent-work, and communication skills.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in application development, infrastructure support, or cloud technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
