Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable cloud-native, distributed microservices solutions for complex business problems.
- Provide hands-on full-stack software development, architectural design, implementation decisions, and production troubleshooting.
- Lead technical solutions and influence cross-functional teams of software, quality, reliability, project management, and scrum professionals.
- Define, maintain, and report SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics in partnership with product, engineering, and architecture teams.
- Create system design specifications, technical diagrams, data flows, and Architecture Decision Records.
- Mentor and coach junior and senior software, quality, and reliability engineers.
- Collaborate with technical leadership on strategic architecture, engineering standards, secure development, and best practices.
- Support sprint planning, retrospectives, technical presentations, stakeholder communication, and roadmap or budget alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering and system architecture experience.
- 7+ years writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Java, Angular, Angular Material, SpringBoot, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 7+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, cloud technologies, cloud-native solutions, and microservices.
- 7+ years designing and developing microservices with Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
- Strong experience using AI developer tools such as Gemini Code Assist or GitHub Copilot.
- Hands-on experience developing AI-powered application features, integrating generative AI/LLM APIs, or using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
- Preferred experience includes Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Bootstrap, J2EE, SOA, SVN, Git, GitHub, Maven, Gradle, JIRA, Confluence, SQL Server, MySQL, JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, and SoapUI.
- Preferred qualifications include strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, roadmap and budget experience, regulated-environment experience, and familiarity with Scrum or XP.
