Base Salary

$108k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, sustain, administer, and support enterprise software engineering and DevSecOps applications across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain deployment automation, container orchestration scripts, infrastructure-as-code templates, and service monitoring tools.
  • Configure and maintain cybersecurity, compliance, and operational posture for hosted solutions.
  • Support and optimize software build and test pipelines and resolve application service incidents.
  • Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to container-based, cloud-hosted, Git-based platforms.
  • Design enterprise-grade solutions and present performance metrics and demonstrations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering programs, stakeholders, and Level-1 helpdesk teams on deployments, support, and knowledge-base documentation.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience deploying and supporting server-based hosted COTS applications and associated enterprise databases, including tools such as GitLab, Jira, Azure DevOps Server, and Jenkins.
  • Linux system administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Podman.
  • Experience troubleshooting server-based application installations, databases, networking issues, and web/HTTP configuration issues involving SSL, certificates, proxies, and REST.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.
  • Preferred experience with Jira, GitLab, Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Bash, Python, Perl, AWS, Azure, Windows administration, Java applications, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, data-spill remediation, FIPS compliance, SSL/TLS, and SELinux.
  • Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, customer-support, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
  • Experience implementing Scrum, Lean, Agile, or Scaled Agile Framework practices.
